What to sell AI Prompts

Sell your AI prompts in packs

An AI prompt pack is a set of tested instructions — for ChatGPT, Claude or Midjourney — delivered as a PDF or a text file. Buyers are the people who saw your result and want it without the trial and error. You upload the file once; Novoca sells it and delivers it automatically after each payment.

A good prompt is hours of failed attempts compressed into a few lines. When you post a result and someone replies “drop the prompt”, they are telling you they want to skip those hours.

It’s the fastest digital product to ship: one document, your tested prompts, and for each one the context it works in plus an example of the output. What the buyer pays for is the selection — knowing which prompt to use, when, and what to swap inside it.

Novoca writes the sales page from your profile, takes the payment and delivers your pack automatically. You keep posting; the storefront runs beside you.

Why this niche works

01

What sells is the curation

Anyone can write a prompt. Almost nobody wants to test forty versions to find the one that works. Your pack sells the shortcut, not the information.

02

Assembled in a weekend

Your best prompts are already sitting in your chat history. Group them by use case, add a before/after for each one, and the product is finished.

03

The proof is in your videos

Every result you post is a sales argument that already exists. “The exact prompt is in the pack” is enough — the buyer has seen what they are buying.

Questions about this niche.

What format should I sell prompts in?+

A PDF organized by use case works well: for each prompt, when to use it, the text to copy, an example output, and the two or three words to replace. Twenty prompts you actually tested beat a two-hundred-line file generated in bulk. Keep copy-paste clean — a prompt broken by your layout is a prompt nobody can use.

Am I allowed to sell prompts?+

Yes: a prompt you wrote is a text you authored. Two common-sense limits — don’t resell someone else’s pack, and don’t attach images generated from the identifiable work of a living artist. If you include generated outputs, say which tool and which date: models change, and so do the results.

What should I charge for a prompt pack?+

A market benchmark, not a promise: €9 to €29 for a solid themed pack. What justifies the top of that range is a real scope (one job, one specific task), example outputs, and an update when the models shift.

My prompts are going to get copied, right?+

Some will, like any digital product. What a copy doesn’t have: your curation, your updates when a model changes, and the trust of the people who follow you. The packs that last are the ones that ship a v2.

How do I get paid?+

Payment runs through Stripe and lands in your bank account. Activating payouts takes an IBAN, an ID and about five minutes. Novoca takes 10% per sale, plus Stripe processing fees (1.5% + €0.25). No subscription, no fixed cost: no sale, nothing to pay.

What if I don’t have 1,000 followers yet?+

TikTok unlocks the clickable bio link at 1,000 followers, or immediately if you switch your account to Professional (free, in your settings). Below that, a pinned comment under your video stays the most reliable route — and for a prompt pack, your audience is already used to copying a link.
