How much do you actually keep on a sale?

“10% commission” doesn’t tell you what lands in your account: there are processing fees too, and no plan makes them disappear. Drop in your price, your volume and your plan — you get the breakdown to the cent, run by the very function that takes the cut at payment.

Nothing is sent anywhere: it all runs in your browser, and the result fits in the page address — you can paste it to someone.

The whole fee grid

Novoca’s commission: 10% of what the buyer pays, taken at payment. Zero euros a month, zero euros for as long as you sell nothing. On Pro (€29/month) it drops to 0%.

Stripe processing fees: 1.5% + €0.25 per transaction. Novoca is the merchant of record on the sale: it pays Stripe and passes the cost through at a fixed rate — aligned on the Stripe France card pricing for the European area — rather than burying it in a bigger commission. These fees exist on every payment platform; the difference here is that they’re written down, and they don’t move.

The Pro subscription, if you’re on it: €29 a month, regardless of how much you sell. It’s the only amount in this calculation that costs you something in a month where you sell nothing — hence the monthly window of the tool.

And that’s it. No listing fee, no payout fee, no cut on views or clicks. Anything not on this page isn’t taken by Novoca — VAT, contributions and income tax, on the other hand, depend on your status and aren’t simulated anywhere here.

What you keep, price by price

One sale, no bonus, at the prices the Studio suggests. The Pro column excludes the subscription: it’s what hits your account on each sale, and the subscription comes off once in the month.

Amounts computed by the function that takes the cut at checkout — same rounding, same bounds.

You can set any price between €1 and €500 in your storefront. The prices in this table are the ones the Studio suggests, because they’re the ones a TikTok audience buys at without having to think.

Three decisions this math changes

  1. 1 Your floor price isn’t where you think

The fixed €0.25 is invisible at €49 and enormous at €5. The lower your price, the heavier the cut weighs in proportion — that’s an arithmetic reason not to sell “just to get started” at three euros, on top of the commercial ones.

  2. 2 The checkout bonus is the cheapest lever you have

It rides the same transaction, so it doesn’t pay the fixed €0.25 again. A bonus at a third of the main price grows what you keep faster than it grows what you collect.

  3. 3 Going Pro is a volume call, never a price call

The subscription only removes the commission. It pays for itself at exactly €290 of monthly revenue, whether you sell ten products at €29 or three at €99. Below that, it costs you money to save a commission you aren’t paying yet.

No price yet? Price calculator gives you the range for your format. No product yet? What to sell on TikTok? hands you three ideas for your niche. And if you’re comparing platforms, digital product platform fees puts the grids side by side.

Questions about the fees.

Why do processing fees come on top of the commission?+

Because they’re two different things. The commission pays for Novoca (building the product, the sales page, the reader, hosting, buyer support). The processing fee pays Stripe, which handles the card and moves the money to your account. Novoca is the merchant of record on the transaction: it pays Stripe and passes the cost through unchanged, 1.5% + €0.25, instead of burying it in a bigger commission.

Can the Stripe rate change depending on the buyer?+

Not for you. What the checkout takes is always 1.5% + €0.25 of the amount collected, whoever the buyer is: the rate is fixed in the payment code, aligned on the Stripe France card pricing for the European area. A card issued elsewhere can cost Novoca more; that extra isn’t passed on to you. So the number in this calculator is the one you’ll pay, not an average.

What if I offer a bonus at checkout?+

The cut applies to the whole transaction, product and bonus together: Stripe bills a transaction, not a cart line. Useful consequence: a bonus doesn’t pay the fixed €0.25 a second time, so it grows your margin faster than it grows your revenue.

When does the Pro plan start paying for itself?+

At €290 of monthly revenue, and that threshold doesn’t depend on your price: €29 of subscription divided by the 10% commission it removes. Below that, free leaves you more. Stripe fees are paid on both plans, so they don’t move the line.

Are these the real checkout numbers?+

Yes. The calculator runs the same function as the checkout, with the same rounding: there is no displayed grid and applied grid. What it doesn’t simulate is your own side — VAT, contributions and income tax depend on your status, not on Novoca.

Sell what they’re already asking for

€0/month. Novoca only earns when you sell.

You didn’t need more followers. You needed a way to monetize them.
